Vegan Food Delivery Schemes for Delicious Meat Free Meals Straight to Your Door

Vegan food delivery

There’s a vegan food delivery box to suit you!

Even the chef-iest vegan might want the odd night off from the kitchen. Alas, high quality meat free ‘easy’ meals can seem thin on the ground.

Ready meals are notorious for being bland, calorific and plastic heavy. Vegan takeaway options often mean junk food central or are non existent – depending on where you live.

But things are looking up.

According to research released by the British Takeaway Campaign, plant-based options grew by 388% between 2016 and 2018. Making them the UK’s fastest growing choice for delivery meals.

Fully fledged or flexitarian. Cruelty free curious or gasping for a decent takeaway with a big V.  There’s a vegan food delivery box to suit everyone.

We've rounded up the food delivery schemes and boxes that offer Vegan options! Whether you're looking for meal prep or recipe boxes that are for the diet conscious, or for those who have allergies, that provide Vegan versions of classic meals, snacks or easy, pre-prepared meals that are ready to eat - we've got you covered!

Pre-Prepared Plant-Based Meals, Boxed

The days of scouring supermarket shelves for enticing plant-based ready meals might soon be a thing of the past. And it’s all thanks to this new breed of cruelty free caterers shaking up the industry.

In the mood for a curry minus the meat or a bourguignon without the beef? Cook delivers hand prepared microwavable vegan meals straight to your door.

Most meals include the calorie content and gluten free options are signposted. It’s a convenient way to fill up while sparing yourself a trip to the supermarket’s frozen department.

Price: From £7.75 for a meal for two or £4.50 for one person.

Deliveroo and Just Eat

Vegan friendly options are becoming more of a thing on these go to delivery sites.

At the time of checking, Deliveroo had 40 vegan options. Just Eat only had two, although this will depend on where you live.

There are usually plenty of reliably satisfying options. Try Wagamama for the vegan Katsu curry with sticky rice. Or Mildreds for their incredibly morish global flavours if you have one near you.

Young Vegans offer indulgently flaky mock meat pies if you’re in the mood for comfort food. For a classic pizza, look for the separate vegan menu on Pizza Express.
